In a chilling incident, seven family members were discovered buried in a shallow grave in Sapad, Lanao del Norte, with illegal recruiters suspected to be the culprits behind this heinous act. The victims, Joselito Gaviola, his wife Marly, and five individuals all surnamed Lenara – Elvie, Jomar, Jopay, and two named Epifanio – were reportedly lured for job opportunities in Cagayan de Oro and Cebu City.

According to family members, each victim had paid an initial placement fee of P7,000. They were last seen being picked up by the recruiters in Pagadian City on Friday. Maj.
