Angara brings a wealth of legislative experience and achievements in educational reform since his Senate tenure began in 2013. With academic credentials including a Master of Laws from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics, Angara’s educational background is well-suited for his new role.

His legislative successes include pivotal acts such as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act and the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 (K-12).
