Victim Identified

Authorities identified the victim as Maria Paz Banol. According to the Talomo Fire Station, the blaze spread rapidly through the shanty, fueled by plastics and boxes stored nearby.

Eyewitnesses said the fire broke out quickly, leaving little time for the victim to escape. Although neighbors heard her calls for help, they were unable to reach her due to the intense flames.
