Misamis Oriental – The 94th Founding Anniversary and 11th Kuyamis Festival Street Dancing Competition brought together eleven participants from various locations in Misamis Oriental. The event, held at the Don Gregorio Pelaez Sports Center last Thursday afternoon, January 11, 2024, culminated in the municipality of Naawan being crowned the Grand Champion, earning them a coveted prize of P300,000.

The vibrant street dancing competition showcased the rich cultural heritage of the participating groups. Each contingent presented their unique performances, combining traditional dance, colorful costumes, and rhythmic music to captivate the audience.

The outstanding presentation of Naawan Town impressed both the judges and the crowd, earning them the prestigious title of Grand Champion. Their energetic and culturally enriched performance set them apart from the competition.
