Alberto Dela Cruz, the caretaker of the cemetery, noticed a woman entering the premises carrying a box. Upon her departure, the box was conspicuously absent, prompting Dela Cruz to investigate. Post-Mortem Examination

Subsequent investigations revealed that the infant had tragically died over 24 hours before discovery. This included a post-mortem examination conducted by the Municipal Health Office. The findings of the examination shed light on the grim circumstances surrounding the abandonment of the infant.

Authorities, determined to uncover the truth behind this distressing incident, are actively pursuing leads. CCTV footage from Mabini Street, Barangay Poblacion, near the cemetery, captured visuals of the woman believed to have left the box at the scene. The footage serves as a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation. Authorities comb through it meticulously in search of clues.

Ongoing Investigation

As the investigation unfolds, PCPT. Alexander Supsupin, Deputy Chief of the Binmaley Police Station, affirmed the commitment of law enforcement to pursue justice for the innocent infant. Efforts include analyzing all available CCTV footage and conducting thorough community outreach in neighboring barangays. The goal is to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the abandonment and tragic loss of Baby Angel.

Despite the sorrow surrounding the circumstances of Baby Angel’s abandonment and death, the community came together to provide the infant with a dignified farewell. The baby, affectionately named Baby Angel, was laid to rest at the very cemetery where he was found. This ensures that he receives the respect and honor deserved by all individuals, regardless of their tragic beginnings.
